| 1936 | A new manufacturing facility at our current location Hahnstr. 11 in Schwenningen has been built and inaugurated |
| 1945 | Company founder Johannes Käfer dies. Operations manager Johannes Jauch becomes a partner and managing director |
| 1961 | The company has 70 employees by now. The Management is moving into new offices |
| 1971 | Managing director Johannes Jauch dies unexpectedly. His successors are Mr Helmut Schlenker as Commercial Director and Mr Siegfried Jauch as Technical Director. They jointly run the Johannes Käfer company as equal managing partners |
| 1979/80 | The Käfer company meets the biggest expansion in its history. A two-storey building is constructed on the premises with a surface area of approximately 1500 m² and put into operation. The workforce is increased to about 100 employees |
| 1982 | The company celebrates its 50th anniversary |
| 1984 | The company changes its name from Joh. Käfer to Käfer Messuhrenfabrik GmbH & Co.KG |
| 1988 | The manufacturing area is increased by expanding the operations building 79/80. The workforce exceeds 125 employees |
| 1989 | Managing Director Mr Helmut Schlenker leaves management after reaching retirement age. Long-time authorised signatory Mr Manfred Jauch assumes commercial management duties |

| 2000 | Technical Director Mr Siegfried Jauch leaves management after reaching retirement age. Managing Director Mr. Ulrich Schlenker is promoted from partner to CEO. Long-time technical manager Mr. Ewald Kerentopf becomes Operations Manager |
